Not co-operating for skype software

I have a NOKIA 6260SLIDE 3G phone.but the problem is its not accepting skype software.its showing as the phone is not been registered with skype.other some of nokia phones are working with skype.please tel me the solution for my purpose of buying the phone was to communicate by 3g in skype.and also give me a comparitively solution.
