Charged in warranty Period

I purchased a new nokia mobile on 14th july. but last night there must be some problem in that phone and it stopped working. i been to nokia care for repair and they said there is some internal falt and you charged around 1000 rupees to repair your handset. why should i pay in warranty period.

Please Help me to solve the solution of this problem
