POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been using Nokia mobile phones since last 8 yrs. On 11-Feb-11 I lost my Nokia 5310 Xpressmusic[IMEI#358653010312829], which I bought from Telephone Shoppee (Invoice No.34323) from Pune on 07-Nov-07.I have also lodged an FIR with the Ramwadi Police Chowky Reg. No.17711;FIR#199

I wanted to block my mobile phone as it contains some confidential information, but Nokia customer Care is not ready to co-operate with me for blocking the mobile handset. As per them they have stopped blocking Nokia cell phones since last 1 month. Without informing the customers & without any public circular they have stopped this provision to block the handsets, this is actually unethical.

Now after spending thousands of money on buying mobile phones, if some one wants to block his/her cell phone will not be left with anyother option than to wait till the time his/her data gets misused.

In a way they are boosting CYBER CRIME as thieves can easily access the data stored in the mobile & can earn EASY MONEY by selling the Stolen Phone in the GREY market. Our precious information could be in wrong hands, anti-social elements can take the advantage of this situation & can use it for all wrong purpose. It is a THREAT to our country's SECURITY SYSTEM also. Seeking some HELP from the forum to get this issue addressed ASAP.PLEASE HELP & SUPPORT ME.
