Malfunctioning of C3 model

I purchased a Nokia C3 mobile phone in Jan.

Firstly, push mail was not working.

For that I had to go a service centre a couple of times and got a software upgrade.

Now, phone hangs very often, mailbox doesn't open quickly, alarm starts ringing at midnight!

I went to the service center again and now they say that I should download all data (phonebook, messages, calender etc) and the instrument will be sent to Delhi for software upgrade or repair.(God knows how many days it will take to come back!)

I am thoroughly disappointed, pl suggest what to do.
