About a year ago I have purchased Nokia Cell phone model 6208 c. Just after the expiry of the warrantee the phone stopped working. The same was shown to Milaps Electronic, Nokia care representative at Nagpur. He asked me to replace the Battery and asked for service charges of Ra 890/- I paid him Rs 1500 for battery and Rs 890 for service charges. Later on I was told that the set cannot be repaired at Nagpur and it has to be sent to Contact service and estimated charges for repairs will be Rs 3884/- Within a year if the battery fails and if I am required to pay more then RS 4500 as repair charges then it puts very bad name to brand known as Nokia. Hence the repair charges should be waived off.
