Waranty period

I am Ms. Manasi P. Kher. I bought Nokia 5130 handset in April which has 1 year company waranty.

In September the mobile phone stopped working. I submitted it to Nokia care in Dombivli, district Thane, state Maharashtra. Company replaced my old handset with new one within 15 days from submission of phone (In September), because the problem in old phone was not repairable.

My complaint is regarding the waranty period of new Nokia 5130 handset

which should have fresh 1 year waranty period that is till September but Nokia care people are not accepting this and saying it will be considerd as per old mobile phone, as per company policy.

I dont understand this logic of considering old waranty period for new handset.

I regret about this.
