Music player opens automatically

I bought a NOKIA N72 3 years back & it was working fine but, one fine day i saw that music player was automatically opening & closing repeatedliy so much that it is difficult to make a callor use any functions!!! the battery is also being unessesary used, i also tried formatting but did not help... what do i do know???
