Nokia N72
Lack of service

My Nokia N72 model used to hang abruptly. I had to remove the battery to restart the cell again. Hence i gave the cell to official Nokia Care named Shree Communication (Address: Shree Communication, 1st Floor, Meenal Arcade, Next to hotel Samudra, Nalstop, Erandwane, Pune-411004) on 21st November. The phone was just formatted and given back to me on 23rd November. However the problem persisted, so i went to them again the same evening on 23rd and they promised to look into it in more detail. Now i received the phone 2-3 days later with the Nokia Care promising me that the problem was solved. However the problem still persisted. In the following month of December i went to Nokia Care at least 3 times however each time they just took the phone and formatted it. I do not have the details of the further visits as Nokia Care did give me back a single receipt except for the 1st one. I cried out loud that there must be a hardware problem but Nokia Care did not have the intelligence to think otherwise. My frustration grew when i was in Mumbai and the phone just kept hanging up as soon as i restarted it. Also with my exams going on i could not pursue the problem with vigour. Finally on 14th January due to my busy schedule my father took my cell to Shree Communication and fought with them. The phone was finally opened and a hardware was "supposedly" spotted and solved. But the mobile hung up on 15th agian. I went to Shree Communication again on 15th January and expressed my frustration. When i said i had come here at least 6 times the manager there said i was lying!!The problem was i had no proof to back myself up as they them selves had said that the receipt remains with them. Let me point out one thing, my mobile had a keypad problem in October when Shree Communications changed my keypad. This hanging up problem has been occuring since then. The manager said that i had lied in October and purposefully had not told him about the hanging problem then itself!!! Is this the policy Nokia Care uses to cover up their own mistakes or what.?? Another point my cell is out of warranty but the service provided has been useless and worthless to say the least.
