Poor quality of model

Sir, this is regarding poor performance on nokia phone handset model 7210c, nokia-GSM .This new set was puchased by brother -in law from mumbai from planet M retail ltd, borivali and it was given to as a gift .after one month of use the set went dead .i approached nokia-care in nashik and they got it replaced with new set. I used new set for about for 10 months but again it started showing trouble, and went dead again in july10 i gave it for repair to a local shop and incurred an amount on its repair but he could not rectify it fully .the set is lying with me dead details of both sets are
