Epeated failure of brand new machines

Electronics and household app.

I have purchased a 1.5 ton split AC from Vijay Sales Hadapsar on 17th April. A request was made to deliver the machine on Fri, 23nd April and install it on Sat 24 th April. The machine was installed on 25th and the technician declared that the AC was defective.

After repeated calls one Mr Amit Bodhe, from ONIDA, again inspected the machine and declared it defective. He assured me that the machine would be replaced after about 4 days.

However, repeated complaints to the ONIDA service centre did not produce any result. The Regional head Mr Rahul Deshmukh refused to speak and we were left to be attended by one miss Firoza, who tried her best to give us whatever little information was passed on to her.

A second AC was finally delivered on Fri 8th May. AGAIN the brand new machine was declared defective. A lot of assurances were given about rectifying the fault, but till today, 10th of May, nothing has happened.

I managed to get the mobile number of Mr Deshmukh who has now informed me that a THIRD new machine is being dispatced to my house!!!

I wonder if there is any concept of Quality Control being followed by ONIDA.

I shudder to think of the service levels I will recieve if the third machine is again found faulty OR if it goes defective after use.
