Poor Quality and Service

We bought an Onida Lexini LCD TV in May from Jayam and Co Anna Nagar, Chennai. The TV Cost was 47, 000.00 then. Last week all of a sudden the TVs display went off in 3 seconds after its switched on. We were shocked and we raised a complaint to the Onida Service Centre. An engineer visited our house checked the TV and said the LCD Panel has a problem and it would cost us Rs.24, 000.00 to replace the same and currently it will not even have a resale value of 1500 bucks! What a shame!

We want Onida to take this responsibility! Well, when a customer has invested approximately 50K for a TV and it goes dead in 3 years and with this kind of service will anyone with little sense would ever buy an Onida LCD TV? Our loyalty towards Onida has gone down the drain! We will not keep our mouth shut but will advertise this poor quality and service of Onida to hundreds and thousands unless Onida responds to us immediately. The TV looks brand new even now and we couldn't believe its not worth anymore!
