I had purchased a Panasonic LCD TV 2.5 years back. Recently, there was a problem in the TV where the TV suddenly goes blank after some 1-2 hours of viewing. After lodging a complaint, a techician came and said that there is problem in A - board and the service centre (Atharva Electronics) will call. However, no call came till 2 days and when I called up, they said that this component is no longer in production!

What is the solution... do i throw away the TV if there is no component to be replaced?
