I am using Airtel Network in my mobile 9840630386 with lifetime offer for the past five years. I used to recharge with Rs.119 booster back for free messages and calls at subsidised rates. This being the sitution I recharged with Rs.121 as top-up. Again I recharged with Rs.119 booster on 31.01.2011. While using my mobile, there was a message informing that recharging with Rs.37 will enable local and STD calls at Re.1 for a duration of three minutes. I have done this recharge on 01.02.2011. To my shock when I used my cell phone on 02.02. I was charged with Re.1 per call even for a duration of less than a minute. Seven times I called the Airtel helpline 121 but it was abruptly cut or no proper answers were given. My request for elevation of the request went in vain. Every time I wanted to complain, I had to enter into IVRS and once it took even seven minutes and twenty seconds for an abrupt disconnection. After repeated request a complaint was registered as CBNRA 20202626899 AT 2.31 PM 02.02.2011 still remains unsolved. My son has a unlimited broadband connection. The most pitiable thing is the recharges were done in Airtel outlets only at Ambattur. I propose to make a consumer complaint if Rs.156/- is not restored to my account immediately. I am sorry for the irresponsible attitude of Airtel's nature towards their valuable customers. N. SRINIVASAN
