Selling Rotten fruits and not replacing it

Motherdairy Booth No. 651 is selling rotten fruits and vegetables.

I bought one watermelon on 13.6. which was rotten from inside. with in 20 min. after buying the product i went back to the booth and asked the sender to change the product. He refused to replace the product saying that he is not sitting inside the watermelon and he threatened me to complain wherever I want to.

Even though these people are supposed to provide an electronic slip, he wrote it on a shabby piece of paper and insisted on not giving me a bill. If such is the behavior of vendors sitting on mother-dairy booths, that are supposed to be a convenience to general public, then I think I have nowhere to go but to a consumer court.
