Sofa Set

I purchased a sofa on 21/03 at Furniture Drive, Near Manju Theatre in Secunderabad. The sales man (Mr Abhishek) sold their product boasting of their qualities and told that the period of warrantee is for 2 years.

The sofa set started cracking after 1 year. When contacted, the store person (Ms Rekha) told me that the leather (Artificial) is not covered under warrantee period.

I tried to complain and talk to the proprietor of the store but they didn’t even mind giving the mobile number or emailid for writing to them. Even after several requests on phone Ms Rekha was banging the phone and rudely telling pay another Rs. 10, 000-15, 000/- or get lost.

1. They didn’t even gave me a proper bill. The bill was given on a quotation form and I have proof of the amount being paid by my Credit card.

2. We are working people and it is our hard earned money.

3. Stores responsibility is not over once they sell the product.

Please guide me.
