I visited Acharya Dental Clinic with cavities. They recommended expensive treatments adding up to Rs. 30, 000 or so. This included a root canal on tooth no. 26 after taking an X-ray (and a bridge and a cap).

A bit surprsied by the high estimates, I visited Ragas dental college for a second opinion. An intern looked at tooth no. 26 and said that it already had a root canal. To be sure, she took an X-ray, from which she said it was clear that it had already had a root canal and it only needed a filling.

Please watch out if you visit Acharya Dental Clinic in Chennai.
