Delivery Delay

Placed an order for "LG GL-308VSX5 Refrigerator” from flipkart.com on 9th Jan (OD20109161371). Complete silence from them till today when i receive an email from them telling me the fridge i want is out of stock, and i should purchase an alternate fridge!!!

Forget about COD delivery within 4-6 business days, it took them 9 days to figure out that the item was out of stock!!! Too many things are way too wrong here:-

1. 9 days to realize Flipkart does not have the product in their inventory

2. No courtesy phone call, just an email from Flipkart saying buy something else

3. The Flipkart recommended fridge does not even have the features I need

Best of luck for people who shop with them... my advice, do not order if you need the product in a month or so, Flipkart generally would need that much time to deliver it
