Activation delay

I wanted a 3 g sim card for my i pad from Idea cellular and applied for one.

the customer service personnel at the richmond road showroom was kind enough to make my application process easy and he promptly told me to wait for 24 hrs for activation (which i agreed)

as of now 48 hrs is over and my 3 g sim for my i pad is still not activated and i have no response to my calls.

this is something unusual in a service industry where connections are activated in a matter of few hours.

thought i will share my experience here.

note :

i was given a normal sim card and paid rs 50 and the micro sim for the i pad and paid another rs 50.

i was wondering why i have to pay rs 50 for the normal sim card which is no use to me once the micro sim is activated
