16GB Spy Pen Camera with free MP3 player & Card Reader

Dear Sir/Readers,

I placed a order with Indiatimes.com on reading adv. in Mumbai Mirror dated 29.03.2010 for 16GB Spy Pen Camera alongwith free mp3 player and card reader (Order #201003291848371) for Rs.1749.00. I was promised delivery within 7 days. After a long wait, received order on 14.04.2010. I made a payment of Rs.1749.00. On opening the packet was horrified to see a 8GB Spy Pen Camera and a Spy Hearing Aid. Called up customer care the same day (14/4) (Complaint #219558) and spoke with Kishore who confirmed my order, apologized and promised another delivery on collection of the old parcel by their representative. On 15/4, once again called up as there was no site of the person. Once again received the same response from customer care. On seeing no outcome, on 20/4, again followed-up with the customer care and spoke to Tanuj Agarwal - who surprised me by saying there was no such order placed as there was no such adv. in the newspaper. I requested for a Supervisor. Spoke with Supervisor Amit Kumar - Confirmed that there was a adv. and his person had made a error on checking it. Once again was promised that he would forward a mail and SMS message for the procedures to be followed.

Its now over a month and till date have not received any response. A reputed firm like Indiatimes.com, seems to be doing a great job in fleecing and cheating people. My humble request to all who read this complaint to please - AVOID THIS WHITE COLLARED THIEF.
