Non-closure of connection

I have been using an airtel broadband connection in Punjab. I had to shift fro Punjab therefore I applied for closure of this connection. I cleraed all my dues on 30-01. But till date I am receiving broadband bills from airtel. I tried to call ludhiana but they are giving me just nuimbers and not registering my complaints. when I am not using that connection why should I pay bills. sir, please advise me on the matter and take this complaint to the authorities so that i get releif from this.
