Payment Due

Dear sir/Madam,

I had a airtel broadband connection (2 mbps data plan) for about 6 months or so. I was facing some problems with airtel services, so I wanted to get the connection disconnected (this was in april). So I called the customer care and asked for the process and they said that all I need to do is send an email to 121@airtel. In requesting for disconnection.

I made a telephonic request on the 7th of april and sent an email to them on the 13th of april and got a confirmation mail from them saying that my connection will be disconnected in next 7 working days and that there will not be further rental charges in the account. Subsequently, the services will be terminated within 7 working days.

My bill of rs 1360/- Was due and so I called the airtel customer care service and asked them that when will I get a full and final payment bill and they said that by the 23rd of april someone from there billing department would call me.

But no one DID.

It took them approximately 3 months (from april till july) to disconnect my connection. Now they want me to pay an amount of 4000 odd rs.

I got a call from vs associates (I don't know how they are linked into this) asking me to make the payment. I talked to one of them and told her that I was just suppose to make the payment for 1360 the 7 extra days. She agreed with me and said it will be okay if I pay rs 1432/- (This was around the 20th of july)

I agreed to it and today (27th of july) vs associated called me and wanted to know if I can pay them today. And I said sure. So I reconfirmed the billing amount and they said that I have to pay 4000/- Something.

I asked them why and they said you have to pay for all the months, so I told him as well that I had disconnected in april. But he said I'LL have to pay them 4000/- Odd rs.

I have the email saved that I sent on 13th of april & what 121 responded to me on the same day.

I have the email from vs associates saying I have to pay 1432/- As well.

I hope you guys can help me out.
