Deactivation of services

Hi There,

I had Airtel landline (4234159) on which I requested for IPTV services. Customer service told me that it is possible to install IPTV on existing connection however the Airtel rep who came to collect my forms told me that I have take a new connection and get the existing connection (5234159) disconnected. I submitted the forms for new connection and disconnection of existing connection to the same guy on 2nd September. They installed the new connection (4058912) with in 2 days and did not disconnect my connection until November and they charged me till November. After fighting and escalating in Airtel for a long time finally they settled the bill for correct amount.

Now I requested to shift my existing connection to a new address, on 25th May (SR - 39325823). There was no communication from Airtel about until 9 PM 27th May. I called up customer service to check the status and I was told that there is no feasiblity at Sector 45 Gurgoan and they can not do anything about it. I request them to disconnected the connection Immediately as I will be shifting on 28th of May and will no longer stay at C23 A, First Floor Ardee City Gurgoan. (SR- 138323512). I was promised that the line will be disconnected with in 7 days. Today it is 9th May and the connection is still not deactivated and every time I call customer care the customer service agent either promises me that they will call me in 30 minutes or they disconnect the call. I am now totally frustrated with Airtel Services and constantly under mental tension that if someone uses the active connection 4058912 for criminal activities than I will be in trouble.

I have been calling their Nodal officer (Gurmit Singh Sandhu at (011-41614777) ) no one is responding on this number.

Can you please take action on this issue?
