Regarding Refund

I was looking for a wifi connection and with the recommendation of someone i chose AIRTEL.

A representative of AIRTEL Mr Mangal - 9268560152 came to my place on 16th Dec to fulfill my requirements and after checking all the lines and everything I was told that I will be easily getting a connection within a week.

He took ADVANCE OF RS 1000 cash from me- RS 500 for the modem and RS 500 the installation charges.

But as expected there was no response from this person instead I contacted him. Then he told that already there is congestion in my area and the required connection would NOT be possible.

And I was told that the refund of Rs 1000 will be done in 45 days. There was no response from any of the representatives and that person was and still is out of contact.

After more than 45 days I received a REFUND Cheque from AIRTEL. And to my surprise the Cheque was of only Rs 100 instead of Rs 1000.

And now there is none to listen to our cpmplaints and I have no idea as to why Rs 900 have been deducted.

I want an answer soon else my next step would be to approach CONSUMER COURT. I do not care about how much money and time of mine will be wasted.
