Auto Drivers demanding excess charges

Hi,

This is regarding the autodrivers in Basvanagar, Bangalore. There are very few bus service to Basva Nagar and people who comes from the City will have to get down at HAL Convention center bus stop and catch an autorickshaw. The auto drivers are not ready to go by meter charge. The official minimum charge is 14Rs, but the autodrivers are not ready to take passengers less than 20 Rs, which is the unofficial minimum charge at Basva Nagar. Since the place is isolated from the main road, we dont have anyother choice. The Auto drivers doesnt were the uniform, there is no Drivers ID plate displayed and condition of the vehicle is also pathetic. If we want to extent the travel to Vignan nagar, which is 300 meters away from Basva nagar, they charge 10 Rs extra.

I request the Autorities to look into this issue
