Salary not paid to drivers

City drivers, No.562, 3rd Floor, 14th Main Road, H.S.R. Layout, 3rd Sector, Near BDA Complex provides drivers on a hourly/monthly/yearly basis. I have taken drivers from this company from way back 2008 and had a couple of good drivers at different times. But the drivers whoever were sent to me would leave after working 1-2 months saying that they are not paid by the company on time and sometimes not paid at all.

I would pay the City drivers in advance every month and was always confused to know from the drivers why they were not paid when City drivers would not tolerate even a days delay from my side and would sent a representative from their office to my residence to collect the due cheque. At first I ignored the sayings of the drivers and thought that they were lying but as more and more drivers left and complained about the same thing to me I believed and came to know that thats the truth. Every due date these poos drivers would call up Naveen/Suresh the proprieter there to get their payment and everytime they were said " Next day" and the next day never came and the drivers would leave the job is desperation. I would sometimes help them with Rs 200-Rs 500 as I really felt bad that even after I never fail to give the cheque to City drivers these poor drivers always suffered and really didnt know what to do to get their money from Naveen/Suresh. I have come across almost 10 drivers and all of them complained the same thing. Its really disheartening to see that in a city like Blore also people are fooled to work and at the end do not get their payments. I would also call up Naveen/Savitha a several times to give the payment to the drivers and they would also assure me that yes they will give " next day"... but next never came. I really do not know how to handle this and what I can do to ease the plight of these poor drivers who are fooled from time to time. Every month I felt that this time it will be different and they will surely pay... but just as a leopard cannot change its spots so the proprieters of City drivers will never change. I will never again take any driver from this agency and will also make everyone aware of not to hire any drivers from them.
