The minimum fare for auto in the western suburbs is Rs.9 for 1.0 reading. Hence if the reading is 9.8, the fare to be paid should be 9.8 * 9 = Rs 88 approx.

However, many of us are paying 97 Rs. instead of 88 Rs. The rate card with the auto driver also shows this incorrect rate.

Why is no action taken against this. Why is the consumer not educated with this information.

Second complaint is that, if the auto's are now running on CNG, why are the rates still high.
