Malpractice by Rickshaw Drivers

I take a rickshaw daily from Vidyavihar to Deonar, it comes to an average of 35 rupees, but lately some rickshaws have a faulty meter that is showing around Rs.50/- to Rs.60/-, which is gross malpractice. The rickshaw drivers are very rude also. Why cant the government go ahead with installing electronic meters. They will be much more difficult to tamper.
