DRIVING WITHOUT FARE CARD

Dear Sir,

I had been travelling back from Shivranjani char rasta to Eurokids Satellite (near Prahladnagar). The driver asked me to pay Rs 20.I insisted that should show me the fare card upon which he told me that he does not have one. I tried to reason out with him that without a fare card, how could I trust that he was charging the correct amount. He replied that it was my fault not to have asked him whether he had one or not before I took the auto. He was so rude that he even told me that I should travel in a car or take a taxi if I was so particular about the farecard. When I insisted that I would not pay if he does not produce the farecard, he was audaciously said, "Kaise nahi degi tu. Paise to mai lekar rahunga". I told him I will tell the police that he was driving without a farecard but he shamelessly said that the belonged to a very rich person who had police officials in his sleeve. Meanwhile another auto had stopped nearby and I asked its driver what the fare was for my meter reading (I think it was 34 or 36 points). He told me that the correct amount was around Rs 18.I paid the driver just the exact amount and not a penny more and. I was actually not pissed off on being asked to pay a rupee or 2 extra. What infuriated me was that it was entirely the drivers fault that that he was not carrying the card and he was blaming me for not asking him about it before boarding. The number of that auto is GJ1-3215BU
