Faulty Meter in Auto Rikshaw

Hi,

I was travelling from Tembipada (Bhanduup Pin 400078) to Hiranandani, Powai at 2:00 pm with AutoRikshaw No. MH03 R335. Generally the fare comes to be around Rs. 40 to 45. However, with no traffic the meter was reading 4.6 at Gandhinagar. I stopped the Auto and told him about his faulty meter then he answerd, "5-10 rupaye ka farak to chalta hai. and I had to pay him 45 Rs.. Pls check the Meter of this Auto Rikshaw and if found faulty, do the needful as soon as possible.
