I have recently shifted from Sion to Nerul in Navi Mumbai and the first thing i noticed in that area is no Auto or Taxi drivers are willing to take you on meter. There are fixed charges and if you ask them to go as per the meter then they refuse t take you. An Auto charges about RS. 100-120 from Nerul (Palm Beach Road) to Vashi. But as per meter it should only be about RS. 70-80. Even if you take an auto from Belapur station to Palm Beach road Neru they charge you atleast Rs. 40-50. This is very unfair and we dont see any action being taken against these rckshaw or taxi wala's they are not scared of the authority. As a common man i find difficult to spend this as its effects me and also the thousands other in this area.

I would request you to please look into this. This is burglary openly and that too they do it as if its their right.
