Pay interest on payment held

A insurance Manager from AVIVA, Nagpur collected Rs 200, 000/- (on 22/11) for an Insurance policy, medical test were carried out. The DR while conducting test never knew as to how to handle the various MACHINES VIZ. tREADMILL, AND HE KEPT ON ASKING THE NURSES PRESENT AS HOW THE Machine is to be handled. Dr sent the report to AVIVA Co. The Co (AVIVA) started to send revised proposal for hiking the Premium amount upto Rs 210, 000. The revised proposal was declined by me and asked for returning my premium of Rs 200, 000.

M/s AVIVA returned this amount to me after a gap of SIX months, and the money was UTILISED by AVIVA for the period of SIX months.

I have raised this matter with the concerned Manager, who kept on answering that the matter has been refered to their HO at Gurgaon.

Now I understand that the Manager who collected the premium from me has left the job of AVIVA and has not shown the correspondence papers to me, he said once the claim (interest) is entertained then the Amount will be reimbursed to me directly by the Co (Aviva)

Since the policy was a sensex based, there was escalation in it by more then 50 %, likewise I should be getting Rs 100, 000/- atleast.
