AXIS (UTI) bank is not returning important Property documents and PDC taken for Housing loan for last 2 yrs although the Loan is not disbursed

Hi,

I had applied for a Housing Loan from UTI Bank (Branch address Lords Building, Kolkata – 700071) of amount 10 Lacs in March. With the application they have taken all my property documents like the original agreement paper with the promoter, all original receipts of the booking amount and more than 20 post dated cheaques. They had received a sanction latter on March-8, Approval Number UTI Bank PH/03-06/DIRRB/RJ/11/RAC-Kolkata/05-06. But they had not disbursed the amount as the promoter did not have proper municipal sanction paper that time. Then I had requested them to return me my documents. But for last more than 2 years I am waiting for my documents, I am doing follow-up with them on continuous basis. Now they are saying the file is missing.

They have already taken the processing charge from me and also lost my entire important confidential document. When they are taking any confidential document from a customer they should have the responsibility to keep it safely. I am suffering a huge loss due to this. And as I don’t have original papers I could not apply for loan from other banks also.

Kindly take necessary action as soon as possible so that I can get back my documents as soon as possible.
