Defective Manufacturing of the Product

I purchased a pair of Shoes

the Sole of the Shoe is tearing apart . when i had been to the stores to get it returned .. The Manager of the Stores Mr Pandian started arguing with me Saying thats not a manufacturing defect ..he says its because of heat .!!?? But heat it s not my problem ..I told him If this is the problem that i find in a months usage what will be the case in the long run ..he says just dont think about the Long run just think of the Past.. So according to him a shoe should be used for a shorter span less than 3 to 4 months which is purhased for more than 1499 rs .. However hes taken the product And lets see wat happens .. If nothing is done acording to my excpectation .. Thats Shows how BATA is...
