Sale of Damaged Shoe

I had purchased a pair of shoes from Bata's Lindsay Street outlet (Shop No. 00002), Kolkata on Saturday, 1st August. Hardly had I used it for 2 days that the entire sole pasting came off & the shoe cracked from the sides.

When I approached the said outlet they refused to refund. I am shocked to say the least. I have been using Bata shoes for the last 25 years. Seems like the old Bata is no longer there. I dont think I'll ever visit a Bata outlet again.
