Sir/madam,

i purchased the above mentioned product (02 nos.) from the shop mentioned above along with my wife.. however after making due payments as requested by the shopkeeper, when i asked for a receipt of the purchase, he refused to give me any. On stressing and stating that it was my right to get the same, he gave me a temporary receipt and that too without any details of the product purchased.

when i pointed out the same, the shopkeeper was very rude and started shouting saying it was not the way he worked and if i wanted to by the product, i had to buy it that way only, or else to vacate his shop.

This has been a very shocking incident for me and my wife as we supposed asking for a bill was well within my legal rights, and as far as i can understand it is a gimmick by the shopkeeper to save on the sales tax payable by him to the government- a very wrong practice!!!

i request you to look into the matter and take appropriate action at the earliest.

kindly let me know if i can take any legal action in this case.
