Broadband 750
Change of braodband package

This has ref to my application for upgrading of my present broadband package. (2262004)
After my last bill, I called up the call centre and requested for a change in the package from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 750/- sround the 24/5/09 I recd a call and I was told to give the application to the mapusa customer centre which i did and expected that I would be on the Rs. 750/- package from 1/609, this was told to me by the call centre staff.
i have been using the internet from this morning and have been trying to check if my package has been changed. and after several calls i spoke to Mr. Hari Krishna who later informed me thru one Mr. Desai that my application and request was being forwarded to Bamgalore and the changes would be made today or tomorrow.
I feel the public is wrongly informed that, the changes will be made as per the billing cycle i.e.from the 1st of every month.
Unaware... that this is your strategy I will be charged for the hours that have been used by me thinking i am now on the 750 package..this is wrong information given to the users which is very wrong.
I request you to look into the matter and train your call centre staff to inform customers that until they are intimated the changes have not been made.
I would like to be kept posted of your decision in my case.
