Axle connection problem

We bought a BSA Baby tricycle from Balaji Cycle Stores, Saidapet on 26th June for INR 2000. The cycle's axle connection got disconnected within 2 days. The complaint was brought to the notice of the so called exclusive sales and service centre M/s Balaji Cycle store. We wanted a replacement since this was a manufacturing defect which the the dealer could have very well taken with the manufacturer. But instead he argued and declined any further service only to throw the cycle to a dustbin.

I'm really surprised by the arrogant behaviour of the owner of the shop to a customer. I consider these kind of dealers as cheaters in the market and somehow wants to take the customers for a ride.
