Poor telephone service and pathetic customer service

I belong to BPO where customer experience is considered to be the utmost priority. I have been dealing with many of the customers with many problems that we have been able to solve in courteously and amicably. So I expect the same kind of treatment from my service provider. Firstly i fail to understand why BSNL has customer service dept. These folks do not have any product knowledge, no idea about how to answer call and many other things which might make them die of shame. They are simply no match to the other companies who came much after BSNL and have trounced them from the monopoly. BSNL employees are still the same even after so much of loss. In fact, every govt organisation is like that only. I pray to god that I never come across any problem that might involve me to visit govt offices. God knows if making complaint on this site is going to yield anything cause again some govt agency is going to look into this and again they will be asking for all those things which may not be feasible. This is why I have decided not to pay single penny towards what I owe to BSNL. God forbids but time is near when BSNL will have to ask for bail out if they don't change there attitude towards customers.
