RELIANCE POWER IPO - REFUND NOT RECEIVED TILL DATE

My name is IYER RAMSWAMY RAMCHANDRAN and had applied for 225 nos. of Shares for RELIANCE POWER vide Appliacation # 92079122 dtd 31.01.2008 during the IPO.

I had issued Cheque # 346989 dtd 31.01.2008 of Indian Overseas Bank - Chedda Nagar Chembur Branch, Mumbai for INR 96750/-

My D-MAt account details are :- Dpid - IN300757 & Client - id - 11345498 with INTEGRATED ENTERPRISES (India) Ltd - Chembur Branch, Mumbai. I understand from the recent statement that I have been allotted 17 nos of Shares, hence the balance amount of INR 89440 has to be returned to me but TILL DATE THE AMOUNT HAS NOT COME TO ME or MY ACCOUNT.

I have been sending repeated requests to Karvy Consultants, who claim that they have sent the Refund Order to the Postal Address of Oman as given in my D-MAT Account. I fail to understand as to why the Refund Order has been sent to my Postal Address when the normal practise is to credit the Applicant's Bank Account given in the Application Form.

I have checked with the local Post Offices and am unable to trace the Refund Order. I have repeatedly asked KARVY to make stop-payment of the lost Refund Order and issue a new one which may be sent to my brother's Mumbai address. I also expect INTEREST for this long delay in getting my Refund Money.

Despite umpteen requests, I am unable to get the Reference Number of the Registered Post from KARVY who claim to have sent the Refund Order on 06.02.2008.

I am very upset the way this matter has been handled by KARVY and being awy from India, I request my complaint may be addressed to the right people to ensure my Refund Money reaches me IMMWEDIATELY.I need a firm committment from KARVY as to how many more days they will take to get me MY REFUND AMOUNT OF Rs. 89440.
