DELAYS WITH DELEBERATE MISMANAGEMENT

1. Deliberate non disclosure of flight cancellation until last minute. CX 751 landed from Bangkok to Mumbai on 23 damaged by a BIRD HIT . CX already knew that the next day morning CX750 will be cancelled but informed passenger only at 12:45 and that to with simple explanation that it will depart next day at 23:20. There was no apology nor would they consider request to be diverted to any other carrier.
2. Irony the situation the ill fated CX750 did not take off even after 24 delays and complete pack of lies that it will board in 30 minutes and so on & on. The inefficiency and mismanagement of Cathay staff reached heights when the CX 682 scheduled departure at 3:00am 24th OCT'08 departed smoothly with only passengers confirmed on the flight and walked past the 24 hours suffering passengers looking on. PATHETIC.
3.The Cathay staff even refused to hear the please of long distant connecting passengers like San Fransisco, Tokyo etc to be transferred to CX682 or any other carrier. We had checked in at 20:30 giving them enough time also for a hong kong bound JET AIRWAYS FLIGHT departing at 01:30 HRS.
NOTHING DONE. My FLIGHT TO NA RITA WAS MISSED forcing me to spend an evening wasted. My Baggage delivered to my hotel 4 hours after arrival which was promised at 2 hours.
TOTAL MISMANAGEMENT AT ALL PORTS. And not a word of apology by any staff anywhere.
I AM A GOLD CARD MEMBER FOR PAST 12 YEARS AND FLYING ONLY CATHAY SINCE LAST 17 YEARS ON THIS SECTOR. AN OUTRIGHT BREACH OF PASSENGER LOYALTY.
