Catwalk shoes--Manufacturing defect

This is to bring to your kind attention that for the last three years I have always worn Catwalk shoes, i dont want know what you call this but I call this BRAND LOYALTY.

However on 14/4/08 I had purchased a pair of catwalk shoes from Pantaloons Camac Street Kolkata, the very next day i found that there was a crack in the soles. I took the same to Pantaloons which was replaced. Post which its just been a month and I worn the pair of shoes for only 10 days the soles have again cracked. This time when I again took it to Pantaloons the Department Manger Mr. Gautam Biswas agreed that its a manufacturing defect, hence I catagorically mentioned that I need replacement and not repairing of the old pair since I was informed at the time of purchase that there is 3 months replacement warrenty available.

However the worse part is today i received call from Mr. Rizwanur of Catwalk claiming that he wont replace rather repair it for me as per policy. But I have a small question here that are we shelling out Rs 750/800/950/- for just one month then i think we should go ahead and better buy any normal shoes rather than going for any brands. Moreover I think customers should have clear idea about your policies, so that nobody have to across such a rude experience.

Please note that since its a manufacturing defect I will only go for replacement.

Will be awaiting a revert.
