Platform at greater height

Platform no.2 of thane railway stataion is at a great height, dat often i see people jumping to alight... there r instances i ve seen children nd senior citizens falling... also to board people hav 2 use different techniques... the most vulnerable r the female sects. i m each time scared wid the imagination dat if anyone was to trip betn the platform to the space in the tracks...

nd its also not new, i suppose.. this has been there since long...

hav the railway authorities not noted this...
