CITIBANK A/C HOLDER HAS TRAPPED ME

I would like to inform you that Mr. Tushar Sharan, having account with Citibank, bearing A/c.no.5404766227 had issued me a cheque bearing no.239391 / 28th March for Rs.1500.00, when I deposited this cheque I came to know that he has issued STOP PAYMENT for this cheque.

I have a business dealing with Tushar Sharan, had made an investment of Rs.25000.00 and above cheque was towards return over investment. Also, he has issued me further cheques bearing no.239392, 239393, 239394, 239395, 239396, 239397 i do not know if he has issued similar stop payment for all these cheques.

I am wondering if I have been trapped as iam not able to contact Tushar Sharan over phone or email.

Please help me to understand how do I pursue further in this regard.
