Expired Bottles sold in the market

I have been consuming Limca and other Coca-cola products for various parties conducted. Each time I walk into a store to Pickup a 1.5/1.25/2l of a Limca bottle I realize that the Product is expired atleast over a month. Its not one shop in Pune but its in abundance, does the consumer even check for the validity and if so I dont see any arguments on the same.

I wonder what the Health Department has to say over the same.
