Mobile Not Working

This is regarding purchase of Aqua Dual SLIM Phone with order no. 51298 with a price tag of Rs. 3, 492. I received the email confirmation of my credit card being swiped successfully on 28th Dec'08. The package was shipped by Blue Dart under AWB 44206577866.

From the very beginning the phone was not working as I was not able to charge the phone.

I logged a complaint with the customer care of Compact International (complaint No. 6969) wherein I suggested for a reverse pickup of the phone from my resedence. After several followups the company picked up the phone and returned the phone back to me within seven days without repairing or replacing it.

I tried to call the customer care department again but in vain. I did not receive any response from them. This is pathetic service from them. I am very much dissapointed and regret my decision to purchase the phone from this company.

In case I don't receive any response from them, I will have no option but to go to the consumer court. Another alternative for Compact International is to pickup the phone from my residence and give the credit back to my credit card.
