Poor performance of battary back-up of newly purchased laptop

Dear sir/Madam,

I have puchased my compaq laptop (CQ45-207TU) with standard cnfiguration and with one year warranty by HP S.NO. CND84515JZ on 25th march from PACE COMPUTECH PVT.LTD., vikas marg Delhi.

Since my purchase i strongly notice that the battery back-up is only 15-20 minutes only. It is very unfortunate for me. Secondly i want window XP configuration, which is not given by HP.What is the remedy of this. Battery Back-up problems is very embarrassing situation for me because i have purchased only 4 months back. I have strong faith in your brand and service please take positive action and confirm me accordingly.
