Laptop Malfunctioning

Dear Sir,
I am in use of Compaq Presario B1255TU Notebook PC - HP Compaq 6715b notebook; bearing serial no. CNU8132W87, hereinafter referred as “the product” purchased by me on 17th Oct’09. The product was purchased from HP approved out let being Croma, Malad for a sum of Rs.43999/-. The said payments were made by HSBC Credit Card.
The product was explained and marketed by HP trained executive at the outlet. Having faith in the brand and on information provided by the executive I opted to purchase the product. Within a period of 6 to 8 weeks the performance of product had slowed down tremendously, causing loss of valuable time.
With the prevailing condition of the product my work started suffering as a result I required to seek help from your engineer/expert for which I was directed by way of pop-ups, where in one of them I had to go for HP Health Care, which showed as & amp; quot; POOR" however I never succeeded in registering my complain or receiving necessary guidance.
With the passing of time further complication arouse whereby I could not down load in my system the updates, inspite of several attempts. Gradually problems relating to battery and power chord occurred whereby the battery does not get charged.

However inspite of doing the needful the problem continued to prevail. After several long telephonic conversations one Ms. Geeta visited my residence on 26/03/09 and had spend more than 5 hours trying to put the product in order however no solution was provided hence it was categorically mentioned by me that the service was “unsatisfactory". Personally, she even agreed that, the product had serious problems. A copy of the form is retained by me.
Subsequently there were several telephonic conversation and emails exchanged between me and your authorised service provider. Although I was not assured of any solution a demand of Rs.1685/- was made towards reinstallation of O/S. Inspite of repeated question it was not explained to me as to what went wrong and why this reinstallation was required.
Ms. Geeta once again visited my residence and again worked for 3 to 4 hours. She also told me that she was doing the same exercise which she did on earlier occasion. As I was late for my appointment I had to leave and on my return I saw the product in same old state.
It is really pathetic that, we as consumers, who are dependent on such products sold by big names and multi-nationals are never cared for after the product is sold. Even, we unable to locate a place to complain, as emails, sent keep bouncing. It is high time that, we take a strong movement against such organizations.
I am confident that, you would surely, look into this matter seriously and take it up, at the highest level. So that, we get justice. As today, my Laptop is literally moving towards, non-functional state, one after the other.
