Complaint againt Police
I was intercepted by Police

Hi,

I am a software professional and I have one relative in bangalore who is also a software professional, we both are engaged and getting married soon. We leave office in the evening at the same time, so I drop her at her room and talk to her for a few minutes outside her room otherwise simply walk on the same road where she lives when I drop her.

Two days ago, while I we were walking on the road at around 7.45 PM, two police intercepted us and asked our personal details, I asked them about the problem, then he said this is for your safety we are questioning and dont walk on the roads latenights, we siad we generaaly walk in this area and that too during 7.30 PM to 8.30 PM in the evening. Then they asked us to go home and left.

Again today (OCT 29), when we were standing outside her room at talking to each other at 7.30 PM, he said we already warned you not to walk on road, I got irritated and asked him, why do you say that it is a warning, don't we have right to walk on roads? then he replied reduce your temper and said you walk on the roads and I will know what to do.

My Question is, shouldn't I walk or stand on the road where my friend stays. The area we walk on the road is always crowded and fully lighted with street lights. I cannot understand the problem of the police, nor did they explain when I asked them.

I predict, there is an impending danger to us from these police men, I would like to take your help to take this issue to the notice of Inspector of Police in Jeevan Bhima Nagar, Bangalore.
