Irresponsible Behaviour

Dear Sir,

My father holds an account in SBI Main Branch Trivandrum. Today he needed money urgently for hospital needs. I went to SBI, Srinagar Branch, Bangalore to deposit 15000 Rs to his account. To my shock, they refused to accept the money because my father's account doesn't have sufficient balance. I didnt understand that rule. I pleaded with them to accept the money and charge me if any. But they simply refused and asked me to get out of the branch. I asked the manager and the cashier to give me their response in writing, they refused that too.

Iam surprised and equally appalled by their behaviour. What sort of a rule is this. Infact the cashier aksed me to ask my father to borrow from some lender and deposit the money there in Trivandrum account. And then Srinagar branch will aceept my money to his account.

Please let me know how can these guys serve millions of customers in India?
