Loss of courie

Somewhere on the 21st of April 09, I had send a courier to Colombo through dtdc services, the contents of the courier was a gift item for someone’s birthday. A day later I get a call saying the courier has been lost/manhandled and I was asked to buy a new gift item and submit the bill which would be reimbursed.

I did so and bought a new gift item and submitted the bill to the concern person handling the courier service at our office. Since then I have been continuously following up the concern officials for claiming the bill. Every time I have got the same answer that the cheque is ready and that will be shortly send to you.

But till date I haven’t got anything except for excuses in reply to my constant attempts to claim the bill.
